It's been a little over a week since the Next Conference and all I can say is that it was a very blessing and humbling experience. I didn't know what to expect before I went but I just know that I went with an open heart and knew that I needed it.

I didn't know any of the praise songs that the bands played and it was different from what I was used to but it didn't hinder me from praising any differently. It actually helped me to focus on the words more rather than the music.

I encourage all of you that are reading this to download the messages and listen to them. Such great speakers, and it was definitely life changing hearing the word of God from all of them. They are all truly genuine people that have such a wonderful passion for God. It was contagious!

When was the last time you set aside time for what is most important? For the person who is most important?
Laziness and familiarity can take their toll. Jesus becomes comfortable, a habit, not exciting or awe inspiring. Too often he fades into the background of our busy lives.
But Jesus hasn't changed. And he invites us to meet him again.
The same Jesus who spoke the universe into being. The same Jesus who went from heaven's glory to a stable. The same Jesus who took on flesh, walked the earth, and carried our sorrows. The same Jesus who suffered, bled, and died on the cross as our substitute, for our sins. The same Jesus who conquered death and rose from the grave. The same Jesus who will one day return.
We gather to worship him, to study his Word, and to rediscover who he is and what he has done.
Join us and spend four days meeting Jesus again.

That's exactly what it was and it was beautiful to rediscover Him again :]

My friend Jung let me read this book and I think every Christian should read it. So many people, especially nowadays are tolerant to everything and are afraid that they're going to offend someone. I am guilty of it myself. When really we should stand up for what we believe in and speak the truth. But always remember to speak through love!

It talks about moral relativism and how it's, yeah... stupid. Moral Relativism is a way of looking at the world that says what is right or wrong for you depends on what you think is morally right or wrong. In other words, everything is relative.

"And what about the idea that there is no absolute truth? I mean, first of all, the statement itself is a declaration of absolute truth."

Add it to your summer reading!!!

It's a very short read but you will get so much out of it.

Was never really a bathing suit person, I love beaches and swimming but don't really enjoy bikinis and the showing skin part. But I absolutely love the whole pin up bathing suit style. It has moderate coverage and makes you look good whether you're a big or a small girl :]

Hoping to get this soon. Once I have the moolah. Most of these sell around $100 but this is only $65 from Retrodress. I say only because it's cheap compared to most places. Normally I would never pay this much for a swimsuit. NEVER. Not planning on buying another one after this. I will wear this until there are holes. Not like you'd notice anyway, right?

I can't really stand the whole electro pop rock scene right now, but these guys remind me of the old school classic techno so I have to like them. Surprisingly, they used to be a Metalcore band haha! They do a cover of "Right Here Waiting" by Richard Marx, major brownie points!

A lot more pop than the last, but still has their indie sound.

"Are There Giants Too, In The Dance?" is a great upbeat song and "Fighting For Nothing" is a nice slower song, love the emotion in this one. Dia used her voice really well in this record!

The first time I listened to this record, I was in awe by the beautiful melodies.

I hope everyone's Easter was joyful!

Praise our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who conquered Satan, Sin, and Death. We'd all be screwed if it weren't for Him.

I didn't eat any eggs or candy this year. It's becoming less and less about those things and more about God and focusing on what He's done for us. How amazing is it? No matter how much I think about it... it still boggles my mind. I am and will always be in awe of You.

So I've had my enV for around 4 years now.... we've been through a lot together. What a trooper it was... survived so many falls and a fall into the toilet. But it's time I move on. Hello BlackBerry Curve! I've always been a LG phone user but I needed a phone with fast email because my work consists of me checking my email all the time since I work from home. BlackBerry Storm was too fancy for me. I like my phones to have actual keys please. I didn't like it at first because I felt like I was using a PC... but I got over it within a couple of hours. Yeah... I've become one of those people.

Wherever we are... he eventually passes out.

Linda and I teach the Elementary school children at church.

I read to them and Linda comes up with the crafts relating to the lesson.

I do the crafts along with the children... we made buttons this Sunday.

I swear this family is stalking us... no joke. This is the third time my brother has pointed out that we've seen this family. The first time was at Chili's and they were sitting at the table next to us, they ate multiple meals. Second time was at the Hibachi Grill buffet, apparently they were sitting nearby. And today was the third time at the bowling alley! Coincidentally they got the alley right next to us of course. All of this has happened within a month. CREEPY.

John decided to be "healthy" and got a salad at the bowling alley, I didn't even know they sold salads... and we learned that you can add nacho cheese to your salad for $.60! gross haha.

I wanted to get a coffee table for my room but space-wise didn't think it would work. But while I was vacuuming my brother's room I noticed that he had furniture that he wasn't even making good use of, so I decided to move them into my room. And it's a perfect fit :]

Dry shampoo is probably one of the best inventions.

This is such a life-saver for me because I am such a grease machine.

I haven't tried other dry cleansers from other companies but Ojon Hair works so well! You can buy it at Sephora.

It literally makes my hair look fresh and like I just washed it.

Gives me an excuse not to wash my hair.

I admit, I hate taking showers. I'm dirty. So what.

I should do a before and after.

Linda Lee knows the key to my heart.

She's always surprising me with snacks and buying me food.

Once I get my first paycheck I will take you out to eat!

We stopped by la Madeleine to buy a birthday dessert for Aaron.

Lately I've been experiencing sleep paralysis/lucid dreams. At first it scared the crap out of me, but it happens so often now that I'm just like... really? Usually when I have it, I'm sleeping on my back and it always starts off with the same dark figure/shadow messing around with me. It's constantly pushing or pulling my blanket, pretty much making me aware that it's there.

Last night was the first time I had it in a while and this time the black figure wasn't there. I took my sleep aid because I absolutely could not fall asleep last night and I think that's what caused it. And since it makes me drowsy, I was in and out of sleep... I'm going to stop taking that junks.

As always I was on my back and saw my normal dark room. Then all of a sudden I started to hear this weird buzzing/hovering noise, then felt something scratching and tugging on the right side of my blanket. Then I felt a heavy pressure on my whole body. So I started to pray to God to stop it and at this point, I'm pretty ticked off and so I got vulgar with whatever it was (or at least tried to.) I think I pissed it off and the pressure on my body increased. I woke up and caught myself saying "Get the f*** off of me..." over and over. HAHAHA! My mom thinks it's because of my new winter blanket, she says it's too heavy so she changed it to a lighter one for Spring haha!

Now, this is a story all about how my life got flipped-turned upside down.

I LOVE finding bargains and buying used CDs & DVDs!

Record & Tape Traders is one of my favorite stores.

I didn't realize it was Maryland based until recently, with one Delaware store.

That makes it that much cooler.

It's sad that a lot of record shops have closed down because of people just not buying records anymore. All because of the internet and downloading. That makes me so sad :( Okay... I admit, I illegally download a couple songs here and there, mostly mainstream singles that I don't feel the need to buy the CD for. Shoot me. Yeah everyone does it but it doesn't make it right, right? That's besides the point. But really, if I like a record... I will go out and buy it. The anticipation of waiting for it to come out in stores gets me real excited. I look forward to Tuesdays at Best Buy because that's when the new releases come out and you can buy it for cheap!

I don't find it very exciting to sit at my laptop and download an album from iTunes. Because watching that download bar is just so awesome. The only time I'll download from iTunes is if I can't get a physical copy of an EP or record anywhere... or if it's a band I really like and they only have a couple of singles out for download.

Since I'm a graphic designer I love buying records for the album art as well. I love flipping through the little booklets and looking at the artwork, photos and different layouts/folds that the designer came up with. It helps me as an artist to get inspired. I don't think some people understand the importance of the album art. The music speaks for itself but the art also speaks a huge part of what the album means. Yeah you shouldn't judge a book by its cover but if something looks like crap it will affect my decision of purchase. If something looks cheap, you're not going to buy it. So it's very important to put a lot of thought in how you want to portray whatever you're selling. But of course, if I know a book or a record is really good, I'm going to buy it whether it's ugly or not. But I mean, if it's that good... then it will obviously have a decent design right?

/end rant.

I was at Suncoast today at White Marsh Mall and some guys walked in asking if there were any stores in the mall that sold CDs and the worker said there hasn't been for about 3 years now. That actually surprised me when I thought about it. I hadn't realized. I remember when there was 'The Wall' and 'FYE'. But that's kind of ridiculous that we don't have anymore of those stores in the mall anymore.

I just really hope record stores will still be alive and well even 10 years from now. PLEASE GOD. It will definitely be the end of the world if they disappear. Lord, just take me if that ever happens.

This is a fairly old record from them but it's really good.

I keep hearing about Chiodos and their lead singer Craig Owens.

So I thought I'd see what the big fuss was about.

Anyway, I listened through the whole album and it's alright.

All of their songs kind of sound the same to me.

But I'll give it to Craig Owens, he's a great singer...

My family and I went to Golden Corral to eat dinner today and without even asking the dude charged my dad as a Senior and my brother and I as children 9-12 years old. My mom was the only one that was charged normally. We all found this completely hilarious. We saved a crap load of money so can't complain. $4.50 for a buffet dinner? HEYOOOOOOOOO!

Stopped by Urban Outfitters (my first time there... didn't even know we had one here) and got me these incredibly cool letters made from recycled materials to spell out my name!

Since I'm jobless right now and not in school... I've tried not to waste my days and have actually taken this time to go to places I've never been to, revisit places, revert back to childhood activities, pursue things that I've been planning to do for years, spend time with friends, and pretty much just being spontaneous with life. Through all of these things I'm seeing the beauty of life again and the beauty of God. He is revealing Himself to me everyday and it's been so amazing.

There definitely was a reason why I haven't been employed these past couple of months. It's been hard but God has provided like He always does. I'm not really worried about finding a job at the moment because I know that when it's time, it will happen. But also during this time I've learned so much about myself, others, and life in general.

My passions have been rekindled.

I watched 'WATCHMEN' today... despite what you may have heard, it was pretty darn good! It was an incredibly 3 hours long but time flew pretty fast while watching it. A lot of people have said that it was horrible and then of course there were those that thought it was really good. Which usually means that you have to go see it for yourself. People... don't let other people's opinions influence your judgment on things, not just movies but in everything in life. If you experience something yourself, you are entitled to have an opinion on whatever it may be. Not saying, you don't have an opinion. But it's like saying you hate apples when you've never had an apple before. Of course there are exceptions... like if a majority of people say that a movie is horrible, it usually is. Or that drugs are bad..... you obviously don't need to try it to know that! I'm just tired of hearing people say, "I heard this, I heard that" and making assumptions. We all know what road that takes us. My point is that, whether the experience is good or bad... don't be afraid to try something. At least you'll know for sure that you like it or don't like it or know that something is right or isn't right for you.

I kind of ranted... sorry.

But I can see how some people didn't like it. If you approached it like another superhero movie like 'Spiderman'... you're obviously not going to like it. Because it's not just another superhero movie. How you approach things makes a huge difference on your outlook. There was some slight cheesiness, which I liked and the fact that it was a lot darker than what we're used to seeing from DC Comic movies. I thought that it was visually amazing and beautiful, especially the opening credits. PLUS the soundtrack is pretty amazing I must say. Zack Snyder has good taste in music!

I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS! IT LOOKS SO BADASS.

I grew up watching Terminator, so it's a pretty big deal.

I really don't like most of the cartoons that are out right now, but these are absolutely hilarious and remind me of the awkward humor of classic cartoons like Rocko's Modern Life and Ren & Stimpy.

I definitely think these are way better than Spongebob Squarepants.

YES. I said it. Plus the animation rules, which is a super plus for me.

DUNKIN' DONUTS

So I took a photo of this tagline at Dunkin' Donuts but it seemed to have magically disappeared from my phone! But the tagline was:

"I KIN' KIN' YOU?"

It took me way too long to figure out what it meant. And I'm sure if I knew of their other taglines it would've made sense the moment I read it but because of my lack of knowledge of Dunkin' Donuts branding, I felt very dumb. If they had just put a period after "I KIN" or at least a comma, I think people would catch on quicker. Or maybe I'm just slow.

Didn't realize how small, small was. It was so cute!

Linda and I went on a late night adventure to Walgreen's and stayed there for a good hour. Cleaning men were there cleaning the floors and the man "waxing" the floor was seemingly following us. We had to keep avoiding him through the different aisles while being attacked by Walgreen's floor dust.

Today is my mom's birthday.
My heart is broken.
I hate to see her cry.
She shouldn't have to feel this way today... or ever. Seems like this happens every year. I don't blame it all on my dad. But I wonder when he'll learn to listen. And I wonder when I'll learn to care more. Why does it take us so long to realize these things? I thought we were done arguing with one another but I guess not. But of course, we won't be able to grow as a family if we don't keep going through things like this. Once we get comfortable, He comes swooping in dropping off another obstacle!

Hopefully I'll be able to make it up to her. So everything that happened today will be covered up with better memories. I'm going to try even harder to become a better daughter, a more thoughtful daughter, and a more helpful and loving daughter in the future.

Sometimes I go to sleep with a pair of socks on and wake up in the morning with only a half a pair on my feet. Richard got me a couple of these awesome socks from Korea! Along with other Jjangoo/Shinchan accessories. What a wonderful friend he is. Hope you don't mind me flashing my ugly right foot.

This was me trying to be productive last night. Watching 'The Wheel Of Fortune' as I make Ready To Bake cookies, followed by 'Heroes' and 'Paranormal State' while I suffered doing some leg/butt exercises.

Even doing something as simple as this made my day a little more exciting than usual. nnnyes it's pretty sad. I'm trying to make my days more productive while I look for a job in this economic crisis. If you have any suggestions of things I could do or we could do together, holler. Kind of in a spontaneous state of mind lately!

So we all know Valentine's Day is a day to share your love with your significant other/loved ones. And for all the single people out there (including me), this is the day we usually dread and get sickened by– from all of the decorations that are drenching with hearts and the color red. And of course we can't forget all of the couples. But deep down inside we are all envious of those that are able to share this day with their boyfriend or girlfriend and may feel a little left out and hurt. (Or maybe that's just me? Haha!) I have a point I promise...

Shouldn't it be Valentine's Day everyday? Why is there a day to show love when it should be like that 24/7. I guess it's a good time to remind people to cherish those that are closest to them and show appreciation. Kinda like all the other holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas but not really...? Yeah, there is a bit of a difference. A lot more emphasis on LOVE. Well, it definitely gave me a huge reminder.

Even if I didn't have a significant other to share this day with, in reality I really did. I do, I have, and I always will everyday of my life and for the rest of my life. The biggest romantic in the world... GOD. To know what He did, just because He loved us so much still amazes me every time I think about it. God is romancing us all of the time but we are so caught up with ourselves and our lives that it just passes us by. Do you know anyone else that can make the stars twinkle, the sun rays illuminate the sky, or give you the feeling of a sweet soft breeze come across your face? (If you do, def let me know.) Take time to notice the things that He's created for us and to glorify His name. Show your love more often to the One that deserves every ounce of our love.

Wowza. I should wake up 6 in the morning everyday. It felt like a super double combo day. Pretty awesome. Seriously need a job. I've forgotten what it feels like to wake up in the morning.

For over 3 hours I sat in an uncomfortable chair in a very awkward waiting room full of people waiting to get a Colonoscopy. Wasn't for me obviously, I was there for my dad. But once we all hit 50... it's time to get your butthole checked! Amusing to watch someone come out of sedation. Hospital beds still make me feel uneasy.

Sometimes I like to create random Play-Doh food with a friend. (Thanks Linda! You're always bringing the kid out of me.)

We were obviously lacking in some colors...

Went and watched the first show for Friday the 13th! @ 12am.

The classic series obviously can't be beat but had to see how they remade it. All I can say is that Jason is a real BAMF in this one and...

Some Christians believe you shouldn't watch horror movies or anything with a lot of violence. Yeah, it's pretty bad that people find entertainment in watching people get killed and whatnot. But as long as it doesn't influence you in a negative way, I don't find it to be a big deal. I feel that my faith is strong enough that watching things like this won't hinder my walk with God. But then again, you're not really benefitting anything positive from watching it so what's the point right? I guess it all depends on the person's maturity and spiritual maturity as well. What do you think?

I saw the sun come up this morning.

That is not cool. The fact that I went to sleep at 4AM and woke up at 6AM made it uncool. Don't think it was a very wise choice to have a venti Cinnamon Dolce Latte last night. Haven't had caffeine in a while so it might've boosted my insomnia. And the fact that the wind was blowing like it was nobody's business didn't help either. The windows in my room are officially broken so I can hear and feel everything that's going on outside. It was so strong that it shut my bedroom door!

I couldn't go back to sleep because every time I closed my eyes I felt like my brain was being attacked by little creatures holding bits and pieces of random thoughts from my subconscious mind and shoving them into my conscious mind in a disorderly manner. Don't know how else to describe it. But yeah once I opened my eyes I was okay. So I just pretty much laid in my bed staring at my curtains for a good hour. I've officially gone insane.

The weather here is so bipolar! It was absolutely beautiful yesterday being in the 60s then it started pouring at night THEN it sounded like there was a freakin F5 outside of my window! Let me know if it's like this anywhere else... because I find it ridiculous. Let's just blame it on global warming yeah? I should stop complaining and be thankful that I don't live in an area where there are horrible hurricanes and tornadoes.

I just realized I missed Heroes on Monday and missed the past 3 episodes of Lost. I fail at keeping up with shows. Gotta go watch them now so I'm up to date and socially accepted! :P
