bday.

--- UPDATE ---

MADE MY MOM A RED VELVET CAKE! :]
so this is how broke I am... I had to dig out $2 bills I saved from when I was younger in order to buy the cake mix and frosting.

I obviously need new mixing tools.

"BLOODUH!"

I had to cut off the burnt part haha.
yay to cream cheese frosting! YAYYYYY~

it doesn't just look pretty, it tastes pretty darn good too!
my mom thought it was chocolate haha, her first red velvet cake :D

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Today is my mom's birthday.
My heart is broken.
I hate to see her cry.
She shouldn't have to feel this way today... or ever. Seems like this happens every year. I don't blame it all on my dad. But I wonder when he'll learn to listen. And I wonder when I'll learn to care more. Why does it take us so long to realize these things? I thought we were done arguing with one another but I guess not. But of course, we won't be able to grow as a family if we don't keep going through things like this. Once we get comfortable, He comes swooping in dropping off another obstacle!

Hopefully I'll be able to make it up to her. So everything that happened today will be covered up with better memories. I'm going to try even harder to become a better daughter, a more thoughtful daughter, and a more helpful and loving daughter in the future.

  1. Ahahaha, I have a good amount of $2 bills. I wonder if they'll be worth anything later on.
